長かった・・・

でけましたっ！

1年越しだか2年越しだか、

忘れ果てていたブツの完成。

前回「たた&たた夫・・・」さんの靴下を編んでいたおかげで、

今回の「ボックス型のかかと」がすんなり理解できました。

引き返し編みをしないところは同じなのですが、

たたさんのと違うところは糸を切らずに（メリヤスはぎが無いので）

そのまま編み進められるところでして、

この方法はなかなかいいなあと思いました。

嶋田先生の本には、

かかとと爪先の色々なバージョンがあるので、

あれこれ試してベストな方法を見つけよう。

今度は茶綿糸でやりたいのだけど、

まずは種を取ってカードがけして紡いで、

それから編む、

って、いつのことやら・・・

Do you suppose regular old shortening (Crisco) would work since it’s also a solid at room temp? I’m thinking it might since someone else mentioned that butter works.

I’m thankful that we no longer own rental property. We sold the complex in 1984 and our last rental house in1996. Anyone owning rentals today risks everything they have to frivolous lawsuits. The result is less apartments for young families to live in. We welcomed pets until tenants proved irresponsible owners, wrecking units and endangering other tenants with vicious dogs. It’s a shame the insurance company decided to settle for “emotional distress.” Outrageous!

It’s amazing how much more relaxed I feel about the upcoming birth of my twins after doing the method. I’m actually looking forward to this big hectic change in my life rather than frightened! I’m so thankful I came across The Linden Method after having my first child and years of unexplained anxiety, it’s the best thing that ever happened to me and I still thank you Charles!
